  1. Whereas, I may have reason to believe that Mr. Brickey, representative of District 4, may

have sent out an email on or around the morning of May 17, 2024, this morning, to other

members of the Scott County Board of Supervisors.

  1. Pursuant to Va. Code Ann. § 2.2-3700, Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I am hereby

requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records, specifically all sent

emails, if any, from Michael Brickey’s email address on May 17, 2024, between the times of

5:00 am and 10:00 am, to include the above-referenced email communication, if any.

  1. If a search for the requested information does not reveal any documents or if no search

information exists, please provide a written statement indicating this is the case.

  1. If any information revealed by this request is considered protected under applicable laws or

regulations, please withhold the protected information. However, please provide all

information that is not protected and is subject to public inspection.

  1. If any part of this request is denied, including any withheld portion of any request thereof,

please cite the specific Code section that permits withholding the particular records.
